Vintage Kramer rhinestone earrings c1950s. A rhinestone snowflake design earring by the costume jeweller Kramer. A design featuring round and marquise facetted clear rhinestones set in a silver tone metal, with Kramer stamped on the clip. Kramer was founded in New York in 1943 and it produced intricate and artistic pieces which included rhinestones, enamel and glass. They were very successful in the costume jewellery market, making pieces for Christian Dior in the 1950s with the introduction of Dior's New Look. Jewellery made for Dior was marked Christian Dior by Kramer. These earring are in excellent condition and measure 3cms in diameter.
